There are few things more satisfying in life than having a computer system say 4-way SLI (as it did with 4x A5000 quadros in a system and connected as pairs with 2x NVLink bridges). Did that massively help what we were doing (VR display of a vehicle)? Not sure. We didn't test without them. The system performance was only marginally better in 3DMark. In practice, I think the PCI-e bus did a pretty good job of shunting data between the cards without help from this. But we will hold on to it and use it for that marginal gain. The price and shipping from B&H was right. Thank you!
I love the ability to pool memory between two A6000 GPUs, which isn't possible with two linked 3090 GPUs. However, the $200 price tag is a way too high.
