GVM GVM-FS03R Overview

The Mini Waterproof RGB LED On-Camera Light from GVM is a controllable, portable light for your camera rig designed to stand up to rain with an IP65 rating. This 2.2" round fixture has a 2000 to 5600K variable color temperature and a rechargeable battery that lasts for up to 1.5 hours. Five-step dimming is available on the fixture, while 0 to 100% dimming, color temperature adjustments, and scene looks are accessible via the Bluetooth smartphone app.

Did not expect much from this item, bought it on flash discount because it sounded useful for small tasks, like when you need some extra light for macros and such. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality and features. Aside from the color temperature adjustment, you can adjust the brightness and select from the full spectrum of colors and save presets.

Is it able to adjust all settings without the app? Having an app might be convenient, but if it's required, it's a deal breaker.

I own this light. You can control 5 levels of dimming with just the button, but color can only be controlled through the app.
