With one 1/4"-20 tripod mount and two cold shoe mounts that may be used for attachment to a tripod and other accessories, the Beamo LED from JOBY is designed for mobile content creators, vloggers, and more. Its single LED outputs 1500 lumens at 5100K, with 750 Lux at a range of 3.3' and a beam angle of 60°, all of which helps to illuminate dim scenes or add fill to standard lighting conditions. Powered by lithium batteries that last for up to 100 minutes and may be charged wirelessly or using an included USB Type-C to Type-A cable, which takes around 140 minutes. The Beamo LED is waterproof and shock resistant, is protected against overheating, and may be controlled using the myJOBY iOS or Android app, which allows for multiple Beamo lights to be controlled at once. For additional lighting control and effects, the Beamo features strobing and dimming, both of which may be controlled using a button on the light, or the mobile app. Included is a diffuser and a cold shoe adapter.

JOBY Beamo LED Reviews
Diffuser Problem
This light shipped with a diffuser that is beyond sub-par. I can shake it off without touching it. Also, don't sneeze while running it. Joby's website shows *different* diffuser for Beamo, and they even sell it as a separate accessory. It is clear they are aware the initial version is a joke. Otherwise, it looks like a great light. I got two similar lights, Joby Beamo and Godox WL4B. This one has wireless charging, Godox has magnetic back. Both are streamlined and can connect to the standard cold shoe. I'm on the fence which one is more useful, leaning towards Godox - the ability to stick it on a metal surface slightly outweighs the ability to charge it without messing with the cables. As for the light output, it's all in the specs. These are good video lights and both are waterproof to scuba depths, so they'll work for any snorkeling application and in any weather. Godox supports slight color temperature adjustments via an app, but to me it's a gimmick. There is no free lunch with color correction in post. Finally, my pet peeve. Both of these lights have flash mode. This is one of those just because you can, doesn't mean you should. I would greatly prefer top adjustment stopping at the maximum intensity, instead of starting to flash. I am still to find a good photo or video usage case for a flashing light. And if you rely on a portable video light for your emergencies, you have much bigger problems in your (lack of) preparedness.
