131 wS?? that isnt much power at all. It would seem to be very limited to either very low ambient light or very close to your subject.
Dutch photographer, Richard Terborg, says if you have an Elinchrom head set it to 4.3 on the power scale to get an idea how this light performs. Here is a link to his review.

Are the flash bulbs fully exposed so they can be used in Broncolor Paras?
I believe this question is asking if the bulb is recessed or not. I do not have this flash but it is obvious from the pictures that the tubes are not recessed, so the are exposed. I am researching this for the same purpose, to use it with a parabolic reflector. My only problem is that it does not have enough power for my need.
I seriously wish Profoto came out with a non recessed option of the B1OX for times when you need exposed bulbs. I bring in Profoto here not to compare with Elinchrom but because I am already invested in Profoto.

Two different tools for two different users we usually suggest more power and Godox wins this round at 200 Watts suppose to 130 Watts.
