The PZ-17 Universal Camera Plate with QD Port for Select Canon, FUJIFILM, Nikon, and Sony Cameras from Kirk Enterprises is designed for select camera bodies, plus bodies that do not have a camera specific custom plate. This Arca-type compatible quick release plate has a 90° anti-twist lip, which prevents the camera body from rotating out of position while mounted.
The plate maintains complete access to the camera battery door and does not obstruct the LCD monitor movement. The PZ-17 is crafted of 6061-T6 aluminum and features a black anodized finish, which makes it resistant to scuffs and scratches.
An integrated QD Quick Disconnect System port and a strap loop are machined into the plate for an accessory hand or shoulder strap. Two optional safety stop screws, which prevent the camera from falling out in case the clamp is partially open, can be added to the bottom the plate. The rear of the plate has been scored with a sensor centering line for precise camera sensor alignment.
