SmallRig 3403 Overview

The Handgrip Rosette Adapter from SmallRig enables you to relocate your original Sony FX6 handgrip when using an extension arm or compatible camera cage. It can also be used to add a rosette-based accessory to the FX6's rosette mount. It secures and locks onto the camera using a cam lever.

This ARRI-style to Sony rosette adapter is made from aluminum and stainless steel and has an M6 center thread. An M6 screw is included to use with other accessories with an M6 thread, and a LANC extension cable is included to assist in relocating the original handgrip.

Note:
The extension cable must be connected before the camera is turned on or the handgrip may not work properly.

No, the SmallRig Handgrip Rosette Adapter for Sony FX6 is incompatible with the Sony PXW-FS5 XDCAM Super 35 Camera System and the Sony PXW-FS5M2 4K XDCAM Super 35mm Compact Camcorder.

With the rosette adapter attached to the handgrip, can the handgrip be attached back on to the camera w/o removing the adapter?

The SmallRig Handgrip Rosette Adapter for Sony FX6 would need to be removed from the grip if you need to work with the grip directly attached to the Sony FX6.

Yes, SmallRig Handgrip Rosette Adapter for Sony FX6 would allow you to have the same articulation as if you had the handle on the camera. The clamp mechanism is the same.

The SmallRig Handgrip Rosette Adapter for Sony FX6 was designed to work with Smallrig products but could also be adapted to cages from other manufacturers like Shape. Also compatible with but not limited to: SmallRig Extension Arm 1879 SmallRig Extension Arm With ARRI-Style Rosette 1684 SmallRig Extension Arm with 2 x ARRI-Style Rosettes 1807 SmallRig Extension Arm with ARRI-Style Rosette 1870
