Available for download, the acousticsamples AcademicGrand gives you the sound of a 1963 Steinway D concert grand piano for use in your DAW. Use this piano for a classic sound in your DAW-based composition and production projects. It offers that classic American Steinway sound, with controls that let you change the tone, introduce key and sustain pedal noise, change the reverb, and more.
The library provides 2.82 GB worth of samples, and includes the UVI 3 Workstation sampler. It will work in Mac and Windows operating systems, compatible with AU, VST, and AAX formats. You'll need an iLok account to authorize the library, but you won't need an iLok dongle.
