Built rugged for daily use on your camera rig yet lightweight for handheld, gimbal, stabilizer, or drone work, the Tilta Mirage Matte Box is a modular component system that clips onto 95mm OD lenses common in the film and digital cine fields. The matte box weighs about the same as a standard 4 x 5.65" glass filter, and it accepts Tilta's 95mm round filters with the included filter adapter. The modular design means you can configure the matte box to match your needs on a shot-by-shot basis.

The Tilta Mirage Matte Box includes one circular filter tray with the purchase of the matte box. Also the circular polarizer is an optional purchase.

Actually the Vespids do have an internal tread of 77mm! So it should work with the 77mm to 95mm that comes with the mirage!

The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens has a 49mm filter thread, and in order to attach to the Tilta Adapter Ring for Tilta Mirage Matte Box (58mm) like the other lenses, consider using a step up ring like the Sensei 49-58mm Aluminum Step-Up Ring. See the link below:

When you are using a lens that wide, you will likely get vingetting with the Tilta Mirage Matte Box. This is consistent with most other matte boxes and wide angles lenses. Tilta recommends staying at 18mm and above while using this matte box on a Super35 sensor.
