Many of my internal HDs that I use for backups required turning this device off and on a time or two to get the computer to mount them. Once mounted, they worked well - and fast too.

A stack of internal and external drives...Indexing and copying them is much faster with USB C than with my original USB 3. Double dock allows USB C speeds between drives. Tested...Fast, but the true teSt is whether it will be working in 8 years. Hope so.
