If only the black part of the grip matched the color and texture of the camera. It's close, but you can tell it's not a part of the camera. I'm just being picky on that because all the other aspects of this product are great. Very useful!

This would not fit the D90 well. If you are looking for a grip we sell the Nikon MB-D80 Multi-Power Battery Pack B&H # NIMBD80 MFR # 25345 and there are universal L brackets if that is what you are looking for depending if you want to use it with or without a battery grip.

Would this fit an old film camera like a Nikon F or similar body? I realize it would have to be roved to open the film door.
It would fit the old film cameras, but you have to remove the grip every time you want to change a new roll of film.
