Why BH advertise this item as a 120-240 V power supply when Sony provides 2 times ( at original buy and then at reorder ) only the 110 V power supply ?
B&H is a North American retailer, so the Sony UBP-X700E comes with a North American plug. It does support 110 to 220 VAC, 50 / 60 Hz, so you can use an adapter with it, like B&H # WATAGUSAE for example, to be able to use it in a country with 220V.

The Sony UBP-X700E HDR 4K UHD Network Multi-Region Blu-ray Disc Player (B&H # SOUBPX700E) is physically modified by a third party approved by the manufacturer for multi-region functionality. It is not recommended to update the firmware of this player unless it would be otherwise necessary for use, as this can potentially disable the multi-region capabilities.
