You'll need to use the EN-EL18d for the Nikon Z8 and likely all their mirrorless cameras. I have some Watson batteries for my D850 but they will NOT work in the Z8. SO be sure to buy the Nikon EN-EL18d for the Z cameras.

How long is this battery expected to last during photography while fully charged?
The CIPA rating is no where close to actual performance. Im not sure how they test it, but in my experience so far it is amazing in the Z9. Easily getting over 2000 shots with normal wildlife shooting during a day, with over 50% left on the indicator.

The Nikon EN-EL18d Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery (10.8V, 3300mAh) is only compatible with Nikon Z9 mirrorless camera. For the Nikon D850 DSLR camera, you can only use the Nikon EN-EL18a A/B/C/ with the Nikon MB-D18 Multi-Power Battery Pack and the Nikon BL-5 Battery Chamber Cover.

No, the only supported charger is the new MH-33. None of the MH-26 chargers are compatible with this battery.
