SmallRig V-Mount Battery Adapter Plate with Dual-Rod Clamp

The smallRig V-Mount Battery Adapter Plate is well made. Has 2 D-tap ports, has one 12v and one 8v ports. Which it had a USB-A but it is a low profile Adapter plate. The larger one that SmallRig makes has a USB port but only has one D-tap port.

Great battery plate for camera, external monitor, and more

I had been working with a cold V-mount plate for a while (not using the pins at the bottom of the V-mount battery), and it became annoying to connect to and disconnect from the V-mount battery itself over and over again, not to mention having to ration a single D-tap port. This new battery plate gives me the ability to quickly swap V-mount batteries and power multiple devices at the same time, including devices that require USB. It's a real boon.

What’s the difference between model number 3498 and 3497? They look identical, but 3497 is discontinued
    Asked by: Irakli
The main difference between B&H# SM3497 SmallRig V-Mount Battery Adapter Plate with Super Clamp Mount which comes with a Super Clamp to attach to stands and tripod legs. And the BH #SM3498 SmallRig V-Mount Battery Adapter Plate with Dual-Rod Clamp is the same base V-mount adapter with a dual 15mm rod clamp attached for 15mm rod mounting. Also, please note that B&H# SM3497 is a discontinued item.
