Connect to a display with the USB Type-C to DisplayPort 8K Video Adapter from StarTech. Connect to a host via the 5.5" integrated cable and USB Type-C connector and use the DisplayPort output to connect a monitor with a resolution up to 7680 x 4320 at 30 Hz. This adapter is plug-and-play and works with USB Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 devices that support DisplayPort over USB Type-C (DP Alt Mode).

High Performance
This adapter connects a single DisplayPort display supporting 8k 30 Hz UHD along with 2-channel audio, HDCP 2.2/1.4 and is Thunderbolt 3 compatible.
Display Compatibility

There are probably other USB-C to DisplayPort cables that will work fine with Eizo monitors but, as far as I know, StarTech's is the only one that Eizo has tested and approved. I use mine to connect a CG2420 to a MacBook Pro. It works perfectly.

Is this adapter bi-directional? That is, can I connect display port from my computer video card to a USB-C monitor input as well as connect USB-C from my computer to a monitor's DP input?

No, unfortunately the StarTech USB Type-C to Display Port 8K Video Adapter would no be bi-directional it would require the USB-C connection from the host outputting device. It can however connect your USB-C port from your computer to a monitors Display Port input connection.

Is this an ACTIVE Display Port cable...does it have a chip? As opposed to a PASSIVE Display Port cable?
