The Pelican 1470NF Computer Case without Foam (Black) is a watertight, dustproof and corrosion-proof case with a slim attache design. It is made of Ultra High Impact structural copolymer polypropylene that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has an Automatic Pressure Equalization Valve for changes in altitude or temperature. It can be carried by a comfortable rubber over-molded handle, or an optional removable, padded, ergonomic shoulder strap.

Pelican 1470 Overview

The Pelican 1470NF Computer Case without Foam (Black) is a watertight, dustproof and corrosion-proof case with a slim attache design. It is made of Ultra High Impact structural copolymer polypropylene that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has an Automatic Pressure Equalization Valve for changes in altitude or temperature. It can be carried by a comfortable rubber over-molded handle, or an optional removable, padded, ergonomic shoulder strap.

Good field case for MBP

Easily fits a MacBook Pro, with room for charger and a few small items on top, or below it; still padded. Optimal for go-light travel and fitting under airline seats; if your travel allows a bulkier case, you can go bigger and have more room for accessories. Attachments for shoulder strap could be better, but work with thin material.

This case is particularly nice because of it's thin design. It still fits quite a bit when pick and plucked efficiently. And of course, it has that Pelican guarantee of keeping your gear safe from impact and liquids. If your measurements match up, this is a no-brainer!

The 2019 MacBook Pro 16" will fit too snug in this case. I would say you would need something a nit larger. There is just about 1' difference in that laptop and the interior dimensions of this case.

The MacBook Pro 15 inch WILL fit within the confines of the case, just barely, and with no additional room to spare for the power supply cord. ( Just examine the case INTERIOR dimensions and you'll see what I mean,when you compare that with the exterior dimensions of the MacBook Pro 13 and 15 inch models. You CAN fit the 13 inch MacBook Pro, AND its power supply cord into the case, together, just barely, and with no additional room to spare. The case is very durable and superior for protection, but it's a very tight fit, when it comes to the MacBook Pros.
