I'm answering my own question here 2 days later: On the outside of the box, there are 3 QR codes to scan. I had tried the android one (after learning to do a QR scan with new phone), that one didn't work for me. I then scanned the Google Playstore code, and it immediately downloaded to my smartphone, 'works beautifully! I had also already tried the Google Playstore app that shows a strobe icon, that worked too, but not quite as well. I love this little LED lite!!! I want more of them!

How do you know when the S03 is fully charged? There's no light indicator on the unit.
I found the answer to my question above, which was 4 days ago! OK, there is a tiny TINY light closest to the USB port, along with all the depressed design dots. If it's a steady light while charging, it's 100% full; 75%=2 flashes per second; 50%=3 per sec.; 25%=4 per sec.;
10%="Breathing Light" (slow-changing dark-to-bright, continuously.) Wah-Lah!!!

NOBODY in ANY Review speaks about any PROBLEMS ...
NOBODY in ANY Review speaks about any PROBLEMS with this light. Mine does nothing but flicker, I cannot get it to stop and just behave like all the videos show. I'm so disheartened by this. Obviously, if you read all the Q&A, I've put spectacular research to find answers to my questions. This one has ZERO leads in any info I've found: How to stop the flickering? Help! Please.
If the flickering is from the LED diodes itself, the easiest way to avoid flickering with lights and LEDs would be to slow your shutter speed down manually in Tv/S or Manual exposure mode to a shutter speed that is slower than the pulsation/frequency of the LED. Try a slower shutter speed and see if that helps!
