ARRI K2.0043726 Overview

The Plate for Sony VENICE 1/2 from ARRI is specifically designed to work with the original VENICE and VENICE 2 digital cinema cameras. This plate is compatible with the BPA-5 Bridge Plate and BSA-1 Broadcast Shoulder Adapters. It provides front and rear 15mm LWS rod supports, enabling you to flesh out your camera rig with rod-mounted accessories.

M4 threads enable you to mount both right and left side brackets, and anti-twist locating pins prevent the plate from skewing when attached to the bottom of the camera.

Works amazing for F55 as well

Not much to say. I wanted to use the BSA-1 shoulder pad with the Sony F55, and it works! BH was unable to verify compatibility, so I reached out to Arri directly, and they were able to confirm compatibility. I've since purchased a BPA-5 and a BPS-2 for mounting the camera on a dovetail. If you're using an F55 in 2024, you're using Arri PCA, and you want to modernize your support hardware, this is an outstanding solution. For those who are wondering, this part (as well as the Arri f55 baseplate) are compatible with the Burano as well.

The ARRI Plate for Sony VENICE 1/2 is compatible with the BSA-1 Shoulder Adapter and BPA-5 Bridge Plate Adapter. You can use the ARRI BPA-5 Bridge Plate Adapter and attach it to the BP-8 or the BP-9, then it can attach directly to an ARRI dovetail plate.
