Easyrig Minimax Overview

Designed with the DSLR/mirrorless shooter that uses a motorized gimbal, the Easyrig Minimax STABIL Light Gimbal/Camera Support System with Standard Camera Hook is great for removing bounce from walking or running while helping you shoot for extended periods without fatigue. The STABIL light is based on the Easyrig STABIL, though engineered for smaller payloads, and it helps reduce vertical vibration and movement as you track your subjects. It includes the Easyrig Vest, Upgraded Minimax Powerpack, and STABIL Light.

This upgraded Minimax model features a redesigned spring system to accommodate the STABIL Light, which results in smoother support rope movement specifically designed for the 4.4 to 15.4 lb payload range. You can adjust the tension of the STABIL Light flexible support arm to match the weight of your gimbal/camera combination, and you can also lock the support arm so it behaves like the original Minmax arm.

Compatibility
You can use this with gimbal/camera systems weighing between 4.4 and 15.4 lb.
Setup
Use gimbals directly with the STABIL Light, or use your gimbal mounted on an optional two-hand ring or with the optional Easyrig Easy tilt Bar, which allows you to tilt and easily pan your gimbal.
Use
Use this system to smooth out shots when walking or running with a supported gimbal/camera setup.
Adjustment
You can adjust the spring tension in the STABIL Light arm to tune it to match your gimbal/camera setup; if you want to eliminate the vibration compensation, you can lock the arm.

The Easyrig Minimax STABIL Light Gimbal/Camera Support System (B&H# EAMINIMAXST) offers a damped suspension system for the vertical axis, thereby helping to improve stabilization and handling relative to that of the Easyrig Minimax (B&H# EAMINIMAX), for example.

Does this work for a canon xf 605? And is this good for long periods of time and running around?
Asked by: Amy
Yes, Easyrig Minimax STABIL Light Gimbal/Camera Support System could work with many cameras including the Canon XF605. The Vest may shake when running or moving and many users work with Segway transports for smooth movement. Also yes this would support the cameras weight and be very comfortable for all day use.
