My sister moved into a new (actual brand new) apartment. Since they were just built the lease forbids any nailing/screwing into any walls. She wanted to mount her bedroom TV onto the wall. I got the base of a high end office chair that had broken and attached a 2 inch PVC pipe (4 foot tall). I attached your mount to it and the TV can now be rolled anywhere in the apartment including the foot of her bed. Thanks!

Can these safely be used to mount to horizontal poles? If so is there any reduction in the amount of weight it will hold?
