I just wanted a small flash to keep in my bag, just in case. It has a slight color cast and needs to be dialed down a bit, but it will do in a pinch.

Has anyone actually used this flash with a Canon 90D? Any issues?
Yes it works with the 90D. I purchased this about a week ago. This morning I went out for the first time. I had it connected to the 90D with a Canon OC-E3 on a flash bracket. Worked flawlessly. Better than I expected.
I didn't use ETTL. I used manual flash and manual camera. The shots were between 10-36 inches in distance using a macro lens. Seems to have plenty of power for that. It fired every time. Very happy with it so far.
