The MK-320N TTL Flash for Nikon from Meike has a guide number of 105' at ISO 100 and recycles to full power in five seconds and much shorter at partial power. It has a built-in sensor for master/slave operation and supports high speed sync (HSS). The MK-320N runs on AA batteries which will give you 100 to 1500 flashes depending on the power level you choose.

I just wanted a small flash to keep in my bag, just in case. It has a slight color cast and needs to be dialed down a bit, but it will do in a pinch.

Yes, the Meike MK-320N TTL Flash for Nikon will work on the Nikon Z8 Mirrorless Camera. As this is made for Nikon, it will work on the majority of Nikon cameras.

Is this compatible with the Z6 ii? This looks identical to my Bolt VC-310N. I recently upgraded to a Z6 ii and the Bolt does not work I-TTL on it.

Will this work with old Nikon film cameras like the Nikon FA?

Yes, the Meike MK-320N TTL Flash for Nikon will work on an older Nikon film camera such as the Nikon FA. However, it will only function in manual mode. There is no TTL capability with this camera and flash combination.

Will this flash work with the Nikon Z9 and the SU800 trigger?

According to the manufacturer's website, the Meike MK-320N TTL Flash for Nikon does not fit the Nikon Z9, Z fc, or the Nikon Z6 II Mirrorless Digital Cameras. However, the flash should be compatible for use with the Nikon SU-800 Wireless Speedlight Commander Unit.
