This stand could work as it is rigid, but it will become tippy if you extend the arm out too much with a heavier load.

Can this hold the Blue Snowball iCE?
The mic stand you ask about is really meant to either suspend the BD mic inside the BD or right in front of the BD. I could not really tell how this mic mounts to its own little tripod, and therefore I can't' comment as to whether or not it can mount to a traditional bass drum mic stand. Sorry...
