Compact and foldable, the edelkrone Pocket Rig 3 is a portable DSLR rig that is easy to take along no matter how lightly you're traveling, making it ideal for run-and-gun capture. This latest Pocket Rig adds a detachable camera plate and both top and side half-cage components to the same fold-out support arm (now detachable) and 15mm rods as prior versions. Like earlier models, this rig improves your camera's stability and reduces fatigue by supporting your camera rig against your shoulder, chest, or waist belt.
Camera Compatibility
Use this ultra-portable support with select DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and small camcorders measuring up to 5.81" wide and 4.13" high.
Detachable Camera Plate
A detachable camera plate with a 1/4"-20 screw enables you to quickly mount and remove your DSLR or mirrorless camera from the Pocket Rig 3.
Compact Form
With a form similar to a battery grip when folded, this support won't interfere with traditional handheld recording. The support arm is now detachable, offering greater modularity.
Half Cage with Customizable Rail
A top plate and a side plate combine to create a half cage that both protects and adds accessory mounting points to your camera rig. These accessory mounts can slide to where you need them on the top and side plates and include one 3/8"-16 mount, four 1/4"-20 mounts, and a magnetized Allen key for adjusting them.
15mm LWS Rod System
More than just a support arm, the Pocket Rig 3 also features 15mm rods (6.4") that fold out quickly, enabling you to attach a follow focus, matte box, handles, or other 15mm rod accessories.
Optional Handle Pack
The Pocket Rig 3 also offers compatibility with the separately available Handle Pack that includes a top handle, dual handgrip unit, 15mm LWS rod bracket, and more.
Compatible Accessories
Compatible with standard matte boxes and both edelkrone FocusONE and FocusONE v2 follow focus units.
Tripod Threads
At the base of the rig are both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for mounting on a tripod or tripod plate.
Belt Groove
A groove enables you to support the weight of your camera from your waist belt, relieving stress on your arms.
