There are a few different ways to initiate a scan on the Canon PIXMA TR7020a Wireless Inkjet All-In-One Color Printer (Black), B&H # CATR7020ABK. The simplest would involve using the Canon IJ Scan Utility on your computer which you will need to install first, if you haven't done so already. Once you place the document on the flatbed or document feeder, you can then open the Canon IJ Scan Utility and select Auto Scan from the options. The document will be scanned.

The Canon PIXMA TR7020a Wireless Inkjet All-In-One Color Printer can print decent black and white photos, but it is not what I would call a true black and white photo printer.

Is the 8.2 inch height with the top auto feed open or closed ? I have exactly 8.25" clearance to open the computer desk drawer.
