Nady DW-44-LT-HM Overview

Operating in the 905.8 to 925.9 MHz frequency band, the black Nady DW-44-LT-HM is a four-channel UHF wireless headset microphone system, offering easy setup for up to four subjects, making it ideal for fitness instructors, singers, actors, panel speakers, and presenters. This version of the system includes four HM-3 dual-ear cardioid headset microphones and four LM-14 lavalier mics, four bodypack transmitters, a 4-channel rackmount receiver, the required power adapter, and a 1/4" cable.

Connect the moisture-resistant headset microphones to the bodypack transmitters via their locking 3.5mm mini jacks. The HM-3 headsets offer a boom mic on the left side with a cardioid pickup pattern for less background and feedback. If you prefer a more low-profile look, opt instead for the LM-14 omnidirectional lavalier mics, which can be attached discreetly to a collar or lapel.

Each transmitter locks to the receiver on a preset UHF frequency and is powered via two AA batteries (available separately) for up to 11 hours. An LED indicates battery power, while the mute/power button allows the wearer to quickly mute the mic if necessary.

Incorporating 24-bit, 48 kHz digital technology and dual removable antennas, the receiver is designed to deliver clear and consistent signal with ultralow latency. Each of the four receiver channels offers adjustable volume, metering, and a balanced XLR output. A single 1/4" output sums all four channels together for users who don't have a mixer and want to plug directly into a PA system.

This set includes four HM-3 dual-ear headset microphones and four LM-14 lavalier mics, providing versatile use for performers, speakers, guests, panelists, instructors, and more
The headset mic features a cardioid polar pattern that focuses audio capture on the wearer; it picks up less background sound and reduces feedback from PA systems
Speakers and presenters looking for a more low-profile visual appearance can choose the lavalier microphone, featuring a forgiving omnidirectional pickup pattern that provides versatile positioning options
Four wireless bodypack transmitters with power/mute switches, battery status indicators, and locking 3.5mm input jacks are included, allowing up to four people to use the system at the same time with the mic of their choice
Four fixed UHF channels in the B1 band: 905.80, 917.30, 910.70, and 925.90 MHz
Four-channel receiver with balanced XLR outputs, an unbalanced 1/4" mix output, per-channel mic volume, and LED indicators
Wireless range up to 300'
24-bit / 48 kHz technology for clean, quality signal
Individual preset microphone channels make the system easy to use
Easy mounting in a standard 19" equipment rack
Includes power adapter, antennas, and 1/4" cable

Does the unbalanced line out from the receiver ...

Does the unbalanced line out from the receiver plug directly into the 1/8" / 3.5 mm TRS Stereo Microphone Input of a DSLR or do I need some sort of adapter?
Asked by: Charles
The Line output connection from the receiver in the Nady DW-44-LT-HM Four-Channel UHF Wireless Microphone System with Four Lavalier Mics & Four HM-3 Headsets will be too loud to connect directly to the 3.5mm Mic input connection of a DSLR camera and will arrive distorted in most cases. This connection could be attenuated with a cable such as the Whirlwind WHH4NL3.5 Line-to-Microphone Attenuator Cable for HDSLR Cameras (BH #WHH4NL3.5) if the output connection is converted to 3.5mm female first.

I have one of these units that has frequencies 907.7, 921.2, 912.8, 927.5 MHz. Can I add a second unit with your frequencies?
Asked by: Alan
Yes, you can use the Nady DW-44-LT-HM Four-Channel UHF Wireless Microphone System with Four Lavalier Mics & Four HM-3 Headsets (Black, B1: 905.8 to 925.9 MHz) with another DW-44 system that operates on the 907.7, 921.2, 912.8, 927.5 MHz frequencies. As long as each system operates on different frequencies, there should not be any issues.
