Add quick release functionality for your wide-design camera when mounted onto your DJI RS 2 and RSC 2 gimbal with this Extended Arca-Type Quick Release Plate from SmallRig. The lightweight aluminum plate attaches to the bottom of a camera or camera cage with the included 1/4"-20 and/or 3/8"-16 screws, and it can mount onto a standard Arca-type base.

The 3/8"-16 screw can be removed on the SmallRig Extended Arca-Type Quick Release Plate for DJI RS 2 & RSC 2 Gimbals by moving the screw to the back of the plate and unscrewing the screw through the wider threading on the slot.

Does the front 1/4 screw protrude enough to support a lens adapter on a Red Komodo like BH #MEMBEFEFRBT2 (Metabones)?
The front 1/4"-20 screw SmallRig Extended Arca-Type Quick Release Plate for DJI RS 2 & RSC 2 Gimbals would not extend far enough to mount a lens adapter.

Can this plate prevent camera twist in Front heavy Setup? ( like Canon R6 + RF 28- 70 on DJI RS2 ) OR Getting camera cage is the only option?
The SmallRig Extended Arca-Type Quick Release Plate for DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 RS 3 / RS 3 Pro 3162 is designed to attach to camcorders or camera cages with 1/4”-20 screw and 3/8”-16 screw to prevent twists. If your camera has two connection points it could work without a cage. But normally you would use this plate with a cage.

Will this work for attaching a smallrig cage to a DJI Ronin RS4 Pro instead of using the upper quick release plate included?
Yes, the SmallRig Extended Arca-Type Quick Release Plate for DJI RS 2 & RSC 2 Gimbals could be used to mount a SmallRig cage to the DJI RS 4 Pro in place of using the upper quick release plate as the bottom of the plate is an Arca-Type.
