Is this adequate for live singing in a nightclub environment?
I might not typically recommend a lavalier for use in this type of scenario (usually a low-profile earset mic would be preferable), but the Sennheiser ME 4's cardioid pickup pattern means that it will perform better in noisy environments than most omnidirectional lavaliers.
If it is a choice between this and an omni lav, I would probably go with this. If an earset like BH #SEUE15535HBE is an option however, I would go with the earset. In noisy environments, the closer you can get the mic to your mouth the less background noise and feedback will be an issue.
