It works and makes shooting outdoors or indoors a bit easier specially during fast-paced shootings, doing micro-adjustments.

Leica being Leica, refused to let on camera flash work on camera, it only works with a trigger. I usually carry two camera on a dual carrier system, so I decided to buy two of these triggers, with an assistant walk around with the flash and magnetic soft box. Nope. The two triggers confused the flash and it it did not work. So I wind up using one trigger, and painfully switching between the two camera bodies. For the 4 hour event, it worked initially until the last hour, when it just stopped working. Not sure why. Any way, on another shoot I used it to trigger off camera flash, which actually worked continuously for 4 hours. I own the Leica on camera flash, which is battery operated, with slow recovery, bah. So Leica, if you ever read this, please work with Profoto and make on camera flash work without a trigger. I am trying another work around, buying a cage, to mount this trigger and flash on the hot shoe and cage.

The Profoto Air Remote Transceiver (B&H # PRAR), when paired with the Impact SCS-MPC PC Male to Hot Shoe Sync Cord (12"), will trigger strobes manually with both the Sony a7R V Mirrorless Camera and the Mamiya 7ii film camera. The Profoto Connect Pro Remote for Sony will not trigger from the Mamiya 7ii, because the smart technology in the trigger would not be able to detect the camera.
