    Nikon 7070 reviews

Car Window Mount is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for the money Using it with a 70-200/F2.8 or a 500/F4 nikkor and Nikon D7100/D800 - it is great to have some support and much better than nothing. I have found it better that the stealth beanbag I own mainly because the height suites my need better. I also use it with a video cam with a velbon fluid head - simply great. For the review below complaining about the stability when driving around with a 500mm + body attached, OMG I only have one comment, what a fool! Of course you have to detach your gear, especially especially especially if you are 4x4 off road, it will break and you will see your gear disappear out the window. Just use common sense there and this little helper will serve you well. Also - stop you engine when photographing or filming - that should be a no brainer too... :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More Than I Thought I needed a window mount for my 70-200 VR II and my Nikon Prostaff spotting scope. Being a Nikon junkie I felt I should purchase this windown mount instead of other brands. I looked at the photo on BH Photo's website but couldn't tell a whole lot about the mount. When I received it I was surprised at the quality of the mount for the low price paid. This is truly a very good quality piece of gear for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Something's changed I received my window mount after it was backordered a month and it is not the same as the one in the photo. The model # is the same, but the one in the photo has a rectangular head and the one I received is more like an ellipse with the ends squared off. Not a problem, just different than pictured. The most surprising thing is that the mounting plate is actually a quick release. I don't see any option to buy spare plates in accessories and since the one in the photo is not shown (or advertised) as having a quick release I bought an Oben QRA-R2 for mine. Mount is plenty sturdy for the rated 6.5 lb. load. I shoot M3/4 and the tilt handle would prevent me from using the EVF if I wasn't using the battery grip. If you have a short camera you will need to use the screen because your chin will hit the handle. Smooth panning action, but my window is seldom perfectly plumb and level so both axis come into play. Well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed. I have a large NIKON telephoto lens which by hand is heavy and hard to handle. This NIKON Window Mount was just the thing I needed to take shots from my pickup truck side window. Sturdy and well made - simple and easy to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works as advertised Driving on Skyline Drive in Virginia, used it while photographing cyclists on the move. Used in conjunction with camera's Live View and a remote shutter control. Held heavy camera rock steady; will add to my travel kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Mount The mount is built heavy and should last, I used it with a spotting scope and it worked good.
