My copy of this lens came out of the box with an excessive amount of play in the focusing ring; it clunks side to side and back and forth intermittently, and the resistance in the dampening varies wildly. Additionally, the lens does not lock into the Megadap ETZ21 Pro+ adapter, so I cannot use it on any of my Nikon bodies without fear of it coming loose and falling off my camera. I'm very disappointed in the build quality of this lens, especially considering how much people rave about it in reviews. I have requested a refund.

I got this just over a year ago. I've never really used manual lenses before so there has been some learning curve but I'm enjoying it and I think it's actually benefitial to be forced into learning like this :)
Overall I've been happy with the outcome. The lens is sharp. It has a quality feel but it is a bit heavy. I'm using it on a A6700.

Is the aperture automatic and linked to the exposure system or is it a preset lens with manual diaphragm.

The Venus Optics Laowa 90mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro APO Lens for Sony E has no electronics in the lens so the aperture is controlled manual on the lens barrel. The camera would be limited to aperture or manual exposure modes and as the aperture is rotated, the camera's meter will adjust the shutter speed as needed.

Yes, the Venus Optics Laowa 90mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro APO Lens for Sony E is compatible on the Sony ZV-E10 Mirrorless Camera.
Note, the lens is a manual lens and the aperture and focus is adjusted from the lens not the camera.
