This X-Drop Pro Wrinkle-Resistant Sweep Backdrop Kit from Westcott measures 8 x 13' and can be used for swapping a digital background into your still or video image in post. The X-Drop Pro Backdrop Stand is included to support the fabric backdrop.

The backdrop is wrinkle resistant, easy to use, machine washable, and reflection free. Made from 100% polyester material, it is easily folded for storage and transport. A fabric drawstring bag matches the backdrop color for easy identification. It has five built-in grommets and a pole pocket for easy mounting to the included stand.

This kit includes 25 CloudKO Lite Green Screen Extractions.

This Westcott X-Drop Pro Wrinkle-Resistant Backdrop Sweep measures 8 x 13' and is Chroma-Key green so you can drop in the background of your choice in post production. Use an exotic locale, or download one of the 25 included CloudKO Lite Green Screen Extractions.

The backdrop is resistant to creases, machine washable, and reflection free. Made from 100% polyester material, it can be folded for transport to your next shoot. A fabric drawstring bag matches the backdrop color for easy identification. It has five built-in grommets and a pole pocket for easy mounting to the separately available X-Drop background stand.

The stand is well built and stretches the material to give a flat surface. I needed a wrinkle free background. I suppose the wrinkles could strectch out but taking no chances, I washed it in cold water and put it in the dyer. It came out of the dryer with no wrinkles and I rolled it onto a cardboad roll from a carpet dealer. It arrived like it was out of the dryer!

Love this backdrop. It's far more portable and lightweight than carrying around a Paper backdrop. Much easier to setup with one person as well. Only real fault is that the 8x8 is just a touch too large to setup in 8-foot-tall ceilings (which you don't run into often) but might be worth getting a 5x7' fabric for those situations that you do or if you have an older home like I do. It's super nice that with the Pro you have that option. With the 5x7' I was a little worried about how close I might need to be to get horizontal shots and the 8x8 does great with that. I can see some situations in which having the floor (8x12?) might be useful too. Overall great system. Feels really wellmade.

The Westcott X-Drop Pro Wrinkle-Resistant Sweep Backdrop stand has hooks for the grommets to put it on. If you will do DIY backdrop - you will be able to place it on the stand, but at the moment we do not carry any off brand backdrops with that type of mounting.

The grommets on the Westcott X-Drop Pro Wrinkle-Resistant Sweep Backdrop Kit (Chroma-Key Green, 8 x 13') are placed approximately 1" from top.

Will this work with the x drop system that came ...

Will this work with the x drop system that came with the 5x12’ drop? I don’t need a longer drop and would prefer to go with 5x7’ for my second drop. The description says this 5x7’ works with the 5x7’ system but looks like the same only no material for a “floor drop”

Yes it will. There is one X-Drop frame (Westcott Part #570X) and both the 5x7 and 5x12 work with that frame.

The Westcott X-Drop Pro Water-Resistant Backdrop Sweep Kit (High-Key White, 8 x 13') BH #WE877SK has a train for going under the subject. The frame supporting it is the same as the 8x8' Kit.

can the 8x8 be mounted on the Westcott Scrim Jim 8x8 frame? This green screen doesn't have the Velcro that scrim fabrics have.

No, the Westcott X-Drop Pro Wrinkle-Resistant Backdrop (Chroma-Key Green, 8 x 8') would not fit to a Westcott 8 x 8 Scrim Jim frame properly.

The Westcott X-Drop Fabric Backdrop (Parchment Paper, 5 x 7') BH #WE643F was designed for the X-Drop frame, but it also has a rod pocket for use with traditional background support systems.
