The Saramonic SR-EA2D is an ultracompact audio interface that allows you to plug microphones and headphones equipped with 3.5mm connectors into an iOS mobile device with a Lightning port. The lightweight adapter plugs directly into the Lightning port on your device and features a 3.5mm microphone input and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A switch on the side toggles between TRS and TRRS mic inputs and the adapter supplies plug-in power, allowing you to use a wide range of microphones with your smartphone or tablet.

Is it only for mics or line out as well? I want to plug the Zoom F3's line out to an I'pad.
The Saramonic SR-EA2D Audio Adapter with Lightning Connector is for mic level signal only, but you can lower the line level output of the Zoom F3. In cases where you are outputting line level that cannot be lowered, you can use an attenuator.
