The Mammoth 4-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod from Benro is lightweight, robust, easy to setup, and made for heavy loads. It has a maximum height of 63" and an impressive load capacity of 55.1 pounds, yet weighs just 5 pounds. The carbon fiber legs offer independent leg spread, three locking angles, and durable aluminum twist-locks. The tripod includes a head platform with a standard 3/8"-16 mounting thread to be compatible with almost any tripod head. The leg apex has a quick release lever so you can easily swap the interchangeable 75mm bowl and level a camera in seconds, even on uneven terrain. The apex has a hollowed design to reduce weight, and three built-in 3/8"-16 mounting holes for adding accessories like microphones and monitors.

What is the actual load capacity of this tripod - the description has different numbers - 33 pounds and 50 pounds - which is correct?
It depends. There is a 33lb and 55lb model.
I own the 55lb, 4 section and the 33lb 3 section. I use the 55lb for large format and I have no doubt about the weight rating as I have had over 40 pounds on it and done things that shouldn't have ended well. I have tried about 30 lbs on the 3 section/33lb model and I believe it to be a bit optimistic. But still - amazing price and both are great products.
