It does what it says on the tin. Connects my monitor to a nato rail easily and firmly. Works well with small rig low profile nato rails too
Ok so my entire rig has decked out in a smallrig cage and Smallrig does a great job at manufacturing accessories and gear for cameras, however this particular product does NOT meet the standards of what I would expect from them. The design of this adapter just does not work, when I want to secure my monitor in place I do so by tightening the knob so it doesn't move right? Well here's the kick when I do that it continues to torque the bolt that's holding everything together, ultimately making it harder to move and adjust my monitors tilt, reach a point to where I have to be cautious in adjusting the tilt on my monitor because if I'm not careful due to the constant torquing of the bolt I can potentially break the base of my monitor. This is the 2nd monitor mount that I've ad this issue with from smallrig with this particular design, If I'm going to be fair my other mount I didn't take the cap off to see if I could loosen the bolt, which in a normal scenario that's something you could do. However when I removed the cap from off the monitor I was welcomed with the sight of nothing but a metal piece, nothing I could get to, to loosen the bolt on this mount. So, in summary there's no fixing the problem. Smallrig did not deliver with this product, and the design is awful. I highly recommend they stop selling this product to creatives because it's not fixable.
