SmallRig DT-30 Overview

Mount your camera onto your desk for a sturdy yet adjustable shot for vlogging, streaming video, or photos with the Encore DT-30 Desk Mount with Holding Arm from SmallRig. The mount consists of a vertical rod that mounts onto a desk or surface up to 2" thick, and there is a horizontal bar that mounts perpendicularly onto the vertical rod with a ball head on the end.

There are integrated ball heads on the ends of each rod, allowing you to rotate the device a full 360° for any suitable angle for your camera. Each ball head features a 1/4"-20 locking thumbscrew. The vertical rod provides up to 22 lb load capacity, and the horizontal arm can hold up to 4.4 lb. The vertical arm can extend from 1.6 to 3.3' in length.

This is a pretty solid arm that clamps down fairly tightly- both the vertical support and the arm do squeeze down pretty well. The vertical support telescopes out taller with two extra sections; the horizontal arm does not close down enough for the top most section, so if you need your equipment to sit that high be aware. It ships with two ball head attachments as well, giving good flexibility to point devices and cameras in any direction off both fittings.

Perfect mounting solution for the small HD HandiCam I got from B&H 5 years ago. I had been using the only tripod that was available at the time. This is a much more compact and more stable solution.
