ASUS B650E-E GAMING WIFI Overview

Designed for gamers looking for robust connectivity and enhanced performance, the ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-E GAMING WIFI AM5 ATX Motherboard enables seasoned builders to leverage the power of AMD's Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 processors and gaming-focused components.

An AMD AM5 socket allows you to install a wide range of AMD Ryzen processors from the 7000 Series family with ease. Four DDR5 DIMM slots allow you to utilize the enhanced speed and performance needed for gaming as well as editing and replaying your favorite in-game moments. Four SATA III and four M.2 interfaces allow you to install an array of storage drives, creating a massive library for your titles, video assets, and more. Install graphics and utility cards with the two PCIe 5.0 x16 and one PCIe 4.0 x16 (in x4 mode) slot. A wide range of USB ports allows you to plug in your favorite peripherals such as keyboards, mice, audio interfaces, and more with USB 2.0, 3.2 Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 2x2 support. Bluetooth 5.2 functionality is available for wireless devices like headsets and controllers. Connect to your network wired or wirelessly with the integrated 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port for wired connections or use Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) signal for a quick and reliable cable-free experience.

DIY-Designed
ASUS developed the STRIX B650E-E GAMING WIFI to include a wide variety of integrated improvements designed to ease the installation process of the motherboard as well as components. PCIe Slot Q-Release and M.2 Q-Latch enable easy installation and removal of GPUs and solid-state drives. Clear CMOS and BIOS Flashback offer easy diagnosis and upgrading of the hardware's firmware. Streamline troubleshooting processes with Q-Code which tells you if and what is causing system issues upon startup.
PCIe 5.0
Experience lightning-fast performance with a wide range of PCIe 5.0 slots for two M.2 storage drives as well as two of the x16 expansion slots, enhancing application loading and graphics card performance. Each of the M.2 SSD slots are equipped with integrated heatsinks to help support and keep your storage drives cool.
Dynamic OC Switcher
Change your overclocking settings with the Dynamic OC Switcher. This system automatically engages AMD's Precision Boost Overdrive technology to enhance performance for your games.
Power Design
Sporting 16+2 power stages and 70A rating, the ROG STRIX can deliver reliable and stable performance for your components. Hi-end chokes and capacitors are engineered to resist extreme temperatures while the eight-layer PCB quickly dissipates heat around voltage regulators and offer greater overclocking headroom.
AEMP
ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile (AEMP) is an exclusive firmware feature for PMIC-restricted memory modules. AEMP automatically detects the memory chips on your kit and then presents optimized profiles with higher frequency and tighter timings that you can effortlessly apply to unleash performance.
Cooling Capabilities
Covering the power solution are two thick heatsinks with strategic airflow channels for increased heat dissipation while powering high-performance Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 Series desktop processors. High-quality thermal pads are utilized between power stages and heatsinks, helping to improve heat transfer and reduce VRM operating temperatures. M.2 heatsinks cover every slot to help keep onboard NVME SSDs at optimal temperatures for consistent performance and reliability. CPU and chassis headers also allow you to leverage various liquid and air-cooling components for optimal performance.
Cooler Compatibility
The ROG Strix B650E-E bears the same mounting hole alignment as AM4 platforms, so it is backward compatible with many existing coolers, including all AIO offerings from ASUS and ROG.
USB Ports
An array of back panel USB ports allows you to plug in your most useful and essential devices with ease. USB-A 2.0 ports offer support for keyboards and mice while the USB-A and USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports provide you with 10 Gb/s data transfer speeds, suitable for audio interfaces and external storage drives. For even greater performance, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port offers up to 20 Gb/s speeds.
Networking
Onboard Wi-Fi 6E technology takes advantage of the 6 GHz band to provide up to seven 160 MHz channels for ultrafast throughput and better performance in dense wireless environments. Low-latency gaming, speedy file transfers, and high-resolution video streaming are among the many perks of onboard Intel 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet.
Audio
ROG SupremeFX is a unique blend of hardware and software technologies that provide superior audio. The Strix B650E-E implementation features the ALC4080 codec for high-resolution playback up to 32-bit/384 kHz across all channels. Front-panel output is streamed through the integrated Savitech amplifier that can drive high-fidelity acoustics to a wide variety of speakers and headsets.
Aura Sync
ROG Strix motherboards feature ASUS Aura technology, enabling full lighting control and a variety of presets for both onboard RGB LEDs and third-party accessories. Effects can be easily synced across compatible ROG graphics cards, monitors, keyboards, and mice to give your setup a unified look.
Software Utilities
A suite of integrated software utilities enables you to optimize your system. Two-way AI Noise Cancelation uses artificial intelligence to adjust incoming and outcoming audio for a clear sound. AI Networking GameFirst VI maximizes networking performance by allocating bandwidth to your system for better connectivity. UEFI BIOS, AI Suite 3, Sonic Studio III, DTS Sound Unbound, Armoury Crate suite, and a sixty-day AIDA64 Extreme subscription all offer additional options and settings so you can easily adjust your system to your liking.
