The Pro Trekker RLX 450 AW II Backpack from Lowepro easily converts from a backpack to a rolling bag. This pack has an adjustable interior divider system and easily accommodates a professional camera with a 70-200mm lens attached plus four additional lenses and accessories. Alternatively, it will hold a video kit with accessories, a folding drone with controller, three lenses and two flash units. This pack is ideal for protecting your gear and the wheels make it easy to transport.

Can the shoulder& waist straps be detached to reduce the overall depth dimension of the bag? What's the depth without the strap

The straps are not removeable on the Lowepro Pro Trekker RLX 450 AW II Backpack. They can be folded and hidden in the back. It does not change by much the outer dimensions of the bag by doing that.
