Big D-tap fitment issues

I'll say first that this plate is incredibly well made and feels very solid however be aware that it was only designed to work with Anton Bauer d-tap connectors only. If you have any off brand d-tap cables (tilta, Kondor Blue, etc...) they will likely not fit. I let my return window laps before finding this out the hard way as I didn't need to use the plate until recently. I asked wooden camera about this problem and they said it will only work with the Anton Bauer brand d-tap connector, basically too bad and offered no solutions. Not very helpful and it took them three days to tell me that. I would avoid this model and maybe look at the more expensive plate with lemo ports to have another way around using D-tap incase your AC or the gear you're renting doesn't have the proper d-tap connectors.

If the fuse goes off and a monitor connected to the plate is suddenly turned off, wont this essentially risk the SDI ports of burning out since the SDI protocol will be broken?

The Wooden Camera Micro Battery Plate Adapter for RED V-RAPTOR (V-Mount to V-Mount) will not harm the SDI- BNC connections.

At this moment the Wooden Camera Micro Battery Plate Adapter for RED V-RAPTOR (V-Mount to V-Mount) is not RED Approved. However, many RED customers use this mount successfully today. It is a Trusted item. Wooden is currently submitting it to RED for approval. It will be on the approved list soon.

The answer would be no. The Komodo does not natively support V-Mount batteries like the V-Raptor does.
