The MACRO APO-LANTHAR 65mm f/2 Aspherical Lens by Voigtlander is an interchangeable lens for full-frame Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras. This is the third lens to bear the APO-LANTHAR name, following the APO-LANTHAR 50mm f/2 Aspherical and APO-LANTHAR 35mm f/2 Aspherical Z-mount lenses. This lens is a high-performance manual focus macro lens. It covers a full-size image circle, and its optical design is optimized for the image sensor of the Nikon Z-series mirrorless cameras.

This lens is equipped with electronic contacts, which communicates data between the lens and the body. In addition to relaying Exif information and supporting in-body image stabilization on 3 axes, this lens has three types of focusing support functions: focusing by color changing of the focus point frame, peaking function focusing, and focusing with the enlargement button.
The optical performance of this 8-group, 10-element lens with an aspherical surface on both sides and six elements of abnormal partial-dispersion glass is the best in the history of Voigtländer. In addition to the large bokeh effect, which can be enjoyed with the large maximum f-stop for a macro lens, the lens also exhibits sharp image making performance from the maximum aperture. The floating lens mechanism enables extremely high-quality images of even distant subjects, beginning from a minimum focusing distance of only 0.31m for 1/2x magnification.
