This is a good scanner for the price range. It actually did better than expected and as long as the negatives are in good shape the results were this. There is no software to correct or restore color or remove dust and scratches. You can lighten or darken and make some adjustments to color, the basics. I had to get used to setting the date, I kept forgetting. I was scanning 35mm film and a few slides and was pleased with the results. It is time consuming but reasonable.

Also, if the source film is crisp, is the scanned image good enough for 16x20 or bigger enlargements? Thanks.
The Kodak SLIDE N SCAN Max Digital Film Scanner is generally insufficient for producing high-quality 16x20 or larger enlargements due to its native resolution of only 14 megapixels, which can result in soft and pixelated images. For better results, a higher-end scanner or a drum scanning service is recommended for large prints from film.
