This Handheld Camera Cage Kit from SmallRig equips your Sony FX30 or FX3 with a cage, two different-sized NATO rails, and tools to create a comfortable handheld rig to best suit your needs. An XLR extension component is compatible with the separately available Sony audio handle to incorporate different audio sources into your loadout. Multiple 1/4"-20 and ARRI anti-twist 3/8"-16 threads throughout the cage can attach articulating arms or even affix your camera in a vertical orientation, all while maintaining access to the camera's buttons and ports.
A cold shoe mount on the cage can accept an external monitor or shotgun microphone. You can also insert the included hand strap into the dedicated slots on the cage to provide another ergonomic handgrip. Securing your camera is a breeze, thanks to the three 1/4"-20 screws. A built-in Arca-type plate can slide the cage-equipped camera onto a compatible tripod or stabilizer.
