This MS200-V Studio Flash Monolight Kit from Godox is a compact and portable light kit that combines three 200Ws strobe monolights in a convenient and versatile kit. It includes two 24 x 36" softboxes, three 6.6' light stands, a 40" silver/black umbrella, a standard Bowens-type reflector, a 2.4 GHz wireless remote transmitter, and a carrying case.

Godox MS200-V Studio Flash Monolight

With a guide number of 174', the MS200-V Studio Flash Monolight from Godox is a 5800K flash source that replaces the original 150W halogen lamp model with a 10W LED modeling lamp that draws very little power with great brightness. It features a 0.1 to 1.8 second recycling time with flash durations as short as 1/2000 sec. Power is variable from 1/32 to full power while the 10W LED modeling light is adjustable from 5 to 100%. Triggering options include sync cord, optical, test button, and wireless power control. The MS200-V is ready to run on 110 to 120 VAC mains power. It has a Bowens mount for wide compatibility with optional accessories.

Ideal for keeping your Smart, Mini Pioneer, or Mini Master series lights protected during transport and storage, this CB-04 Wheeled Hard Case from Godox accommodates two or three lights with accessories. It has inline skate-style wheels and a top pull handle for easily rolling heavy loads on smooth surfaces. For short distances, the dual connecting side straps have a detachable grip to provide comfortable carrying.

The case has a spacious main compartment with a secure zippered closure. A zippered pocket inside the lid stores small accessories or everyday items. Insert your business card or contact info in the clear front exterior window for easy identification when traveling.

I wanted a small, economical compact light for studio use and potential travel. The MS200v serves well for this purpose. The strobe is useful for portraits, product work, fill lights etc. The power is adjusted similar to a speedlight (1/4 pwr 1/2 pwr ) as opposed to arbitrary numbers on some strobes. It has a Bowens fit, so many modifiers will work with the device. This is a corded light, so best used indoors. Unfortunately it does not come with a reflector which would have increased its value, but reflectors are readily available.

This is the place where your salesman did his best work. This light set is exactly what I wanted. I couldn't describe what I wanted but he got me just what I needed. I now have almost everything I need to start my photography business. My studio isn't up yet or I would send pictures. Ask me in a couple of weeks and ask me to show you something I do.

Yes, the Godox MS200-V Studio Flash Monolight (3-Light Kit) will work with the Nikon Z7 ii camera. The strobes are manual. So, they do not support TTL.

When using the Godox MS200-V Studio Flash Monolight with the Nikon SB-900 speedlight on the camera, you can set the Godox light to trigger via optical slave mode. If you want to use both lights off camera, you can use the Godox X2 2.4 GHz TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Nikon mounted on the camera shoe as a trigger with the Godox X1R-N TTL Wireless Flash Receiver for Nikon (BH # GOX1RN) under the SB-900 if using the speedlight off camera.

The Godox MS200V 2‐Light Kit will let you fire both lights together from your Sony A7IV using the included Godox transmitter as long as both flashes are set to the same radio channel and group, so you can trigger both simultaneously.

Wha is the difference between this one and the one without the V?

The only difference between the new new Godox MS200-V 200Ws Studio Flash, B&H # GOMS200V, and the original Godox MS200 Monolight, B&H # GOMS200, is the older MS200 has a 150W halogen modeling lamp, whereas the MS200-V uses a 10W LED modeling lamp which is brighter than the 150W modeling lamp. Otherwise, the units would be the same in terms of features and performance.
