Why does Plugable recommend against installing it ...

Why does Plugable recommend against installing it in employer supplied devices?

With some employer provided computers they may be apart of an 'Active Domain Policy' where it may prevent the installation of drivers via the Windows Update tool. Drivers may have to be manually installed by your IT department which could lead to some difficulty for an end user. We would recommend checking with your IT department before using our adapter with an employer provided computer.
