question
I purchased this product and have a question. The Ball head that you sent with this TT-100 has a standard camera mount on the top while the bottom is much bigger, in fact, it will not mount to the TT-100 unless you send me an adapter otherwise this is useless. A Standard camera mount is 1/4 . the Ballhead has this on top but the bottom (The part that will screw onto the base has a 3/8 opening. Can you send the adapter please. My Order number was - 1027352702
The mini ball head ships attached to the TT-100 tripod. I spoke to an Oben rep at Gradus Group, and was told that inside the ball head, there is a 3/8-1/4 bushing. This bushing is built into the ball heads base but when the head was unscrewed, its possible that it can came off and due to its small size be easily misplaced or overlooked. However, this is easily replaceable. If you need a replacement, you can find one on our website B&H # OB1039

question
can It support my Canon 7D with lee filter system ?can the tripod be placed on the beach for a low angle shot?
The weight capacity for this tripod is 6lbs. The Canon 7D weighs 1.8lbs, and the Lee Filter system weighs approximately 10 oz. You would just need to take the weigh of whatever lens you are using into consideration. As long as you do not exceed 6lbs with the total weight this would hold your camera set up.

Would this work with the Nikon CoolPix P1000?
Would this work with the Nikon CoolPix P1000?
The Nikon P1000 only weighs 3.11 lbs, which is nearly half the load capacity of this tripod. However, extending the zoom on the camera would added more weight to the front. Your results may vary.

question
My DSLR weights 1.62 lbs and my 24-70 lens weighs 2.15 lbs for a total of 3.77 lbs. While the tripod capacity is 6 lbs, the weight of my lens extends beyond the camera body by 4.5 inches, putting a strain on the ball head to stay in place and not droop. I am concerned about this unless I can be assured the ball head will support that much weight forward?
I'm sorry, but I actually have never used the ball head that comes with the tripod legs. I got on Oben BA-108T single lever travel ball head to use instead and have had no problems supporting the comparable equipment you describe. Looking at the default ball head, it would probably work for what you have, but then again, it wouldn't surprise me if your equipment slipped a little.

question
is the screw in the base also 1/4-20? I may want to attach a spotting scope to the base and not use the ball head. The scope is threaded for 1/4-20
Yes the base has a 1/4-20 and comes with an adapter to fit to the base of the ball head.
