Cine-Style Design
This Pictor lens features 0.8 MOD cine-style focus, iris, and zoom gear rings, making it compatible with cine-style lens accessories such as follow focus units, lens motors, and lens control systems. The 95mm outer front diameter allows you to use a variety of compatible third-party matte boxes, and the lens has an 86mm filter thread. A lens foot with a 1/4"-20 thread enables you to use a support to help reduce strain on your camera's lens port.
16" Close Focus for a Wider, Immersive Look
The Pictor 12-25mm Zoom's 16" close focus enables you to capture tighter close-ups in limited space environments with the controlled curvature, creating a more subjective and immersive audience perspective.
Interchangeable PL and EF Mounts
The efficient Pictor design comes standard with an interchangeable PL mount and includes an EF mount.
Use separately available Octopus adapters to use the Pictor zoom with Sony E, Canon RF, Fuji X, and Nikon Z-mount cameras.

For a long time I used the Sigma Art 18-35 on my Blackmagic 6K Pro - and I still recommend it to plenty of people that ask for the ideal setup on that camera. The sharpness is great and produces good image, HOWEVER this lens produces AMAZING images and has the gear rings allowing you to use it well with FIZ setups. The gears are nice and smooth allowing you to use with even something like a Nucleus Nano. Highly recommend for budget cinematographers wanting to step up from using photo lenses. This lens and the focal range is perfect for a lot of work.
Does not fit the OG komodo w Kippertie revolva EF

a lot of good things about this lens. I picked it up and was excited to use on my komodo OG kit with the Kippertie Revolva EF mount. As soon as I changed the mount to check it it works it does not fit. The back opening is wider than the usual other lenses (20-55, 50-135) so it hits the EF sensor on the mount.
I tried everything to make it work. I added shims so that the mount extends away so that it will fit, but then I can't focus at all due to the back focus being way off.
I have no choice but to return. Trying out the 14-30 now to see if that works.

The DZO Pictor line of lenses are color matched, therefore, the DZOFilm Pictor 14-30mm T2.8 Super35 Parfocal Zoom Lens (PL and EF Mounts, Black) would match the color of the DZOFilm Pictor 12-25mm T2.8 Super35 Parfocal Zoom Lens.
