The P-GHF-01 Folding Camera Gimbal Tripod Head from Proaim provides a remarkable shooting experience when trying to travel light with heavy lenses. Engineered with high-grade CNC-machined aluminum, this gimbal head is a perfect fit for large lenses, spotting scopes, and cameras while offering a substantial payload of up to 22 pounds.
It features a rotating arm that can be removed and attached to an Arca-type tripod head separately as an L-bracket for epic landscape and portrait shots with mirrorless and compact DSLR cameras. The arm can be folded against the tripod for an exceptionally compact setup. Once the arm is removed from the gimbal, long lenses can be directly attached to its Arca-type mount pivot and the camera to the quick-release clip on the bracket arm.
The head pans and tilts a full 360°, facilitating extreme angles and smooth, balanced shots. The panning and tilting axis are locked independently using the pan and tilt friction knobs. The height of a lens can be adjusted by sliding the camera platform arm on the gimbal's rotating clamp. A spirit level at the base of the gimbal head provides precision leveling, and numbered scales to provide precise movements and repeatable setting on the gimbal head.
