The Sennheiser EW-DP SKP is a digital plug-on wireless transmitter equipped with a built-in recorder and compatible with EW-D Series receivers. It can be attached to a handheld microphone of your choice for man-on-the-street interviews or to a shotgun mic for wireless booming. The plug-on provides 48V phantom power, giving you the option to use a condenser microphone. There is also a 3.5mm mic input for connecting a lavalier mic. The EW-DP SKP can also be used as a standalone recorder with audio files recorded onto a microSD card (available separately).

Hi John - when the EW-DP SKP plug-on transmitter was launched, the onboard recording function was limited to 24-bit; a firmware update earlier this year enabled 32-bit float recording selectable through the Smart Assist app.
