The heavy-duty tripod is constructed with durable, lightweight carbon fiber, features a mid-level spreader, and has an adjustable height range of 37 to 77". It folds down to 39" in length for transport in the included carrying bag.

The fluid head allows you to use the included Manfrotto-style quick release plate or the original DJI RS 2, RS 3, or RS 3 Pro quick release plate with the flip of a simple switch. The 75mm half ball head can pan 360° and tilt +90/-60°, and the quick release plate features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera screws to accommodate all camera types. Other features include a bubble level, 1/4"-20 accessory threads, and a fixed pan bar. It also features removable rubber feet and spiked feet to fit various settings.

Use the FreeBlazer Heavy-Duty Carbon Fiber Tripod from Smallrig to support a camera rig weighing up to 55.1 lb. Made of lightweight carbon fiber, it has a 75mm bowl and includes a half bowl tie-down with a 3/8"-16 screw that can be used to mount your camera, video head, or baseplate. The 2-stage legs feature flip locks for quick setup, a mid-level spreader, and both spiked and detachable wide feet. The FreeBlazer tripod can be adjusted between a minimum height of 31.1" and a maximum height of 71.7", and it folds to 39" for storage.

SmallRig DH10 Heavy-Duty Video Head (75mm Flat Base)

Add smooth camera moves to your footage using the DH10 Heavy-Duty Video Head from Smallrig. This 75mm flat base head features stepless damping for smooth panning and 17.7 lb of counterbalance for dynamic balance. The DH10 head supports up to 22 lb and features a Manfrotto-type 501PL snap-in quick release plate for quick camera or gimbal mounting. It provides a 1/4"-20 thread for mounting an articulating arm or another accessory and comes with a telescopic pan handle that can be mounted on either side of the head.

Fluid head is nice but legs are not secure

The fluid head is pretty nice for lightweight cameras/rigs, however the legs NEVER LOCK, they always slide down on one side. I've tried tightening things up with an allen-wrench until the carbon fiber makes scary cracking sounds, but even then it flops all over the place. Currently gathering dust as I use other tripods, including my cheaper Smallrig AD-01 which actually locks (though it has its own issues).

Nice inexpensive tripod head!

Owning various Cartoni Tripods for my bigger cameras, I was looking for something light, inexpensive and good fluid movement for my FX3 and although, I also have the Libec NH10 (A very good fluid head), I didn't want to spend as much for another one. I did compare the two on the B&H site and thought for price and the reviews, the Freeblazer was worth trying. My cons are the spreader and feet. The spreader should be a little wider and would be nice if they were easy to remove. The feet seem to be an after thought time will tell how they hold with usage. They can easily be pulled on and off, which may lead to them being lost as there's no real method of them being clamped on. The locking handles as you extend the legs are plastic and they too, we'll have to see they last. They do lock well and seem hold the height. This is the carbon fiber legs and they are pretty good and do like the height extension. The head, itself is very good for the price point and comparing it with the Libec NH10, it's comparable to the fluidity and smoothness of the pan and tilt. It's great that they put the pan lock in the back as most fluid heads are in the front. the tilt lock is also the friction control. The plate locks in nicely and nice to have it designed for traditional plates and the DJI plate. Time may change my impression of the tripod, but someone looking for an inexpensive, extremely functional, easy setup and smooth, this is well worth the investment.
