The NSD-35 35mm Negative and Slide Digitizer from Vello makes it easy to digitize 35mm negative film strips and mounted slides with a digital camera and macro lens. This kit features an LED light source and extension tubes which allow consistent and bright illumination as well as accurate focus distance. Pull out your old 35mm film negatives or prepared slides from the closet and drop them into the film holder to capture one-to-one digital copies. Process the images with your favorite photo editing software or cameras that have built-in negative digitization such as the Nikon D-850 DSLR. Once you snap a shot, you'll have a digital file of the picture just as you fondly remember it.

Vello NSD-35 Reviews
Fun and decent
The instruction manual was tiny, so I found the online version and was off to the races. I used this rig with a Canon R6 with the 100mm Macro. Compared to traditional slide scanners, I was able to pull a ton of details from the deep Kodachrome shadows, and used HDR blending to capture the full dynamic range using Lightroom Classic. Very happy with the results.
Vello NSD-35 35mm Negative & Slide Digitizer
The Vello NSD-35 makes scanning 35mm negative and Slides faster, sharper, and more accurate. The Vello NSD-35 enables you to use major brand digital cameras. My first test where made with a Sonya7C a 24mp camera with the Sony90mm Macro lens. The auto focusing of the camera combined with the sharpness of the 90mm macro used with the Vello NSD-35 delivers both speed and accuracy when making dupes.
