The NSD-35 35mm Negative and Slide Digitizer from Vello makes it easy to digitize 35mm negative film strips and mounted slides with a digital camera and macro lens. This kit features an LED light source and extension tubes which allow consistent and bright illumination as well as accurate focus distance. Pull out your old 35mm film negatives or prepared slides from the closet and drop them into the film holder to capture one-to-one digital copies. Process the images with your favorite photo editing software or cameras that have built-in negative digitization such as the Nikon D-850 DSLR. Once you snap a shot, you'll have a digital file of the picture just as you fondly remember it.

The Vello NSD-35 35mm Negative and Slide Digitizer comes with a 62mm filter adapter that fits the Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS Lens. Technically it should work but it has not been tested with that lens and Sony cameras.

The Vello NSD-35 35mm Negative and Slide Digitizer will focus using a Nikon D500 and a full-frame 105mm macro lens. It will crop the image, and that might not work for some.

Will this work with an old F mount manual focus Micro-NIKKOR 55mm f/2.8 lens?
The Vello NSD-35 35mm Negative and Slide Digitizer includes a 52mm lens adapter so it will screw onto the Nikon Micro-NIKKOR 55mm f/2.8 Lens. There are several extension tubes in the box that you can use to get the film to be at minimum focusing distance so it should work with that lens, but we have not tested with that lens before therefore cannot guarantee that it will work.

The Vello NSD-35 35mm Negative and Slide Digitizer, BH #VENSD35, only holds standard 35mm film strips and mounted slides. We do not have a different-sized film holder for the Vello NSD-35 35mm Negative and Slide Digitizer.
